Don’t visit Vienna without a waltz! Your clients will dance in ¾ time during an exclusive waltz lesson at one of Vienna’s best-known dancing schools. After a glass of sparkling wine to unwind, the charming dancing teacher will instruct your clients in the art of the waltz. The gala event in the evening provides an opportunity for them to demonstrate their dancing skills.
An art workshop in the ateliers of fascinating Vienna museums like the Museum of Modern Art, the Leopold Museum or the Albertina will enable your clients to develop their artistic streak. A team of art teachers will be on hand to ensure the time spent is truly creative!
Your clients can be a part of the culinary world of Vienna: during a cooking course at one of numerous cooking studios they will learn to prepare Viennese specialties like boiled beef, schnitzel, beef salad, old Vienna soup pot, shoulder of beef, braised beef, … During an apple strudel workshop in the historic bakery of Schönbrunn Palace, for instance, your clients will be introduced to the art of strudel making. They can either watch how it is done in a short presentation or take part in a hands-on workshop. Alternatively, under the expert guidance of a confectioner, your clients can learn the secrets of the perfect glaze when decorating a Sacher cake at Demel’s, the famous court confectioners.
Viennese and Austrian wines are the focus of an exclusive tasting of superior wines, in the imposing wine cellars of Palais Coburg, for example. The Schlumberger champagne cellars are also worth a visit. During a guided tour of the 300-year-old cellars, your clients will learn all sorts of interesting facts and figures about Austrian sparkling wine.
A treasure rally/Vienna Trophy/interactive photo safari… through the old city - the unforgettable way of getting to know the city, the real Viennese and their language too! There are no limits to your imagination, and the teams have to answer tricky questions, solve tasks and overcome obstacles.
For a thrill and/or team building, there is boundless scope for other outdoor events in the Vienna Woods, on the Danube Island and in the Prater. They include a high ropes course, dragon boat racing, sailing, rowing, balloon trips, old-timer rallies, excavator driving, curling, etc.
A guided tour behind the scenes and rides shows you a different side of Vienna’s intriguing Prater funfair. As a great start or as a highlight, your clients can enjoy cocktails on the Giant Ferris Wheel (the cabins can be rented exclusively), from which they get a bird’s eye view of Vienna. Or get off to a virtual breathtaking flight above the rooftops of the city aboard “Vienna Airlines”, a Flyboard flight simulator near the Giant Ferris Wheel. There are various other event locations around the Giant Ferris Wheel, not forgetting the legendary “Schweizerhaus”, a byword for superb beer and crispy knuckles of pork.
The sportive way to experience Vienna - by bicycle, by Segway, or even on the run (“Vienna Sight Running“). Vienna offers over a thousand kilometers of cycle paths, along the magnificent Ringstrasse boulevard, for instance, through the Prater, and along the 21 km/11 miles long Danube Island. The perfect ending is a visit to a coffeehouse or a picnic in one of the city’s countless parks and gardens.
