Event planning now also means having to follow a few guidelines. So from May 19, mandatory requirements include access tests, stipulations on the maximum number of participants, and the creation of a prevention concept for events and congresses. You can find the latest guidelines for events here.

Vienna's hotels are open for business travelers. Accommodation providers with the "Safe Stay" seal, which was developed by the Vienna Economic Chamber and the Vienna Tourist Board back in the summer of 2020, show that they have the highest standards in terms of safety and hygiene. Around 70 hotels have already been certified.
