ECR 2023 celebrated "The Cycle of Life" with more than 17,000 experts in radiology
After pandemic-related online-only meetings and a summer congress last year, in 2023, the ECR returned to its traditional spot in early March. Thus, the European Congress of Radiology once again kicked off the year for major congresses at Meeting Destination Vienna. With more than 17,000 radiology experts attending, the ECR recorded a 14 percent increase in participants compared to the previous year.
An impressive scientific program was once again offered at the Austria Center Vienna and online. The congress motto "The Cycle of Life" was not only highlighted in educational sessions, but also perfectly implement through the impressive congress setting and technical exhibits as wells as in the course of exciting social events.

"After all the disruptions to lives in recent years, it was wonderful to see the halls and rooms of the Austria Center crowded with busy, enthusiastic, happy attendees, enjoying all the educational and social opportunities provided by ECR 2023. On-site feedback from Congress participants was very positive, and watching attendees, I sensed that the future of radiology is in excellent hands, with young colleagues ready to continue the success and constantly-increasing clinical relevance of and delivery of value by our specialty", said ECR 2023 Congress President, Adrian Brady.
