Event updates, latest status as per 19 May 2020

Since 01 May, meetings in public spaces with up to 10 people are possible, subject to the minimum distance of 1 metre. Major events such as city festivals or music festivals remain prohibited until 31 August.

As of 29 May, in line to the opening of the hotels, training and education in hotels for up to 100 persons will be permitted.

On 15 May, the government announced a step-by-step plan for the opening of art & cultural events. This plan provides for the following gradual openings:

  • From 29 May: Indoor and outdoor - events up to 100 visitors
  • From 01 July: Indoor and outdoor - events up to 250 visitors
  • From 01 August: Indoor and outdoor - events up to 500 visitors. Also from 01 August events with 500-1,000 visitors upon presentation of a prevention and safety concept.
