Digital.Genial – Dentists' Congress at the HOFBURG Vienna

Digitalization does not stop at dentistry: tasks that were previously performed manually can be implemented more easily, quickly and cost-effectively using computers and digital devices. In addition, predictability is increasing. For this reason, digital technologies – from facial scanners to manufacturing processes with 3D printers – are advancing rapidly. These and many other aspects were discussed by more than 700 participants at the 45th Austrian Dental Congress from September 16 to 18 at HOFBURG Vienna.

Congress president Doz. Dr. Werner Lill was enthusiastic about the physically held event: "For our congress participants, the HOFBURG Vienna is a very special location associated with a very unique atmosphere. Our industry partners, who were able to present themselves in the large ballroom, the side gallery, the marble hall and the ante chamber, were also thrilled."

Safety was always a focus at the event. For example, participants had to be vaccinated, recovered or tested in accordance with the regulations in force at the time of the event. The control took place at the entrance. In addition, the organizers integrated wearing of FFP-2 masks as a further measure in the safety and hygiene concept.
